From: Charles Stockdale Benning, Dunstable; To: Thomas Sworder, Hertford "Yourself & Burr I don't find your admission to the Copyholds in the Manor of the Borough of Stondon & the Rectory of Stondon nor any copyhold documents of the Manor of Chishall except the covenant in the deed of 13th May 1853 by Thomas of Luton to get admitted for you. Would it not be best for you to get admitted? It would simplify the Coll Mortge. I have got the conveyance & mortgage drawn & am drawing the Coll mortgage".
