Monday however is the proposed pay day, so I ought to have no cause to grumble on this score. We are now getting quite a name for Beer now. A man came to order a Barrel today in consequence of its being so good. He swore he would never drink any more of Burr's if he knew it. The Deeds of the property purch'd of Gray are in your possession. I found a letter on my arrival from W.Medland he says he is quite happy & they are enjoying themselves very much at Scarboro' they go to Swanhope[?] next Friday" Copy letter from Thomas Sworder of Hertford to Thomas Sworder of Luton "I received your letter & the agreement today I have since paid £4,000 to your joint account at the Luton Branch of the London & County Bank thro the London & County Branch here.
