- TitleReport of Inspector Frederick Smith of Biggleswade who was on duty in the High Street when he saw William Pettingill driving 2 heifers along Stratton Street which was within an infected circle and 320 yards from an infected place. When he reached the railway bridge Inspector smith stopped him and asked if he had a license to move the cattle. He replied that his master had told him not to take them that way but he had forgotten. He turned them round and drove them down Crab Lane. Ordered to pay 2/6.
