    from Roger Godwin of Chester, gentleman and Benedicta his wife (niece and heiress at law of Rev.John Robinson, late of Flitton, clerk, deceased) to Rev.John Thomas James of Flitton, clerk, with Beaumont Cole of Flitton, farmer, as intended plaintiff in final concord for £150 capital stock 3% Consolidated Bank Annuities of cottage or tenement, many years past converted into and used as a stable in Flitton, formerly in occupation of John Fanch, heretofore of Judith Walduck, since of May Laycock, widow, since of Samuel Bartram and for many years in occupation of John Robinson, and now John Thomas James and conveyed to John Robinson by indenture of 12 Jun 1789 by Judith Walduck “with her addition therein mentioned” Reciting: -will of John Robinson of 4 Sep 1816 directing that the stable and other conveniences of the waste at Flitton subject to a rent of 1/- per annum be sold and produce expended in purchasing 3% stock, the dividend being for the use of the poor of Flitton to purchase bread or other necessities; -appointment of testator’s nephew William Godwin and Ezra Eagles as executors; -stables to descend to testator’s niece Benedicta Godwin Covenant to levy a fine Witnesses: Fra.Edge Barker, Wm.Lancaster, Jno.Eagles, clerk to Mr.Eagles of Ampthill . Roger Goodwin and Benedicta Goodwin signed with a mark Note:This deed relates to property on the waste at Flitton and apparently concerns land later taken into the Glebe
