Information of PC Joseph Hebbes stationed at Biggleswade. He was on duty in Langford Street, in Mr David Smith's, Corn Merchant Shop when John Stower, Tramp, entered the shop and asked if PC Hebbes could give him some relief on the road as he was out of work. PC Hebbes said he could not. Mrs Smith gave him some things. Later PC Hebbes saw Stower in Mr Bird's Grocery Shop again asking to be relieved. 10 days.
