Scope and Content
Absolute surrender (out of court) by Ann Goodman of Biggleswade, widow, formerly Ann Ventiman, the only daughter of Thomas Ventiman dec.
Admission of Samuel Wells of Biggleswade, only son and heir of Samuel Wells the elder of Biggleswade, brewer, dec.
Recites conditional surrender of 17 May 1780, and that £544 was now owing to Samuel Wells from Ann Goodman on account of the mortgage.
Agreement that Ann Goodman should sell premises to Samuel Wells for the said £544 and an additional sum of £20 to be paid to her.
Also a yearly rentcharge of £16 to be paid by Wells to Goodman for life, this having been secured to Ann Goodman by indenture of even date
