Faculty to take down the middle chamber floor of the tower and belfry, and to replace it with a new floor with a decorated under ceiling; to dismantle the five bells and existing bell frame; to clean and rehang the bells in the repaired bell frame after making good the masonry; to clean down the middle chamber of the tower and entrance below and to protect all stonework, to carry out repairs to the base of the tower externally; to insert an aumbry in the north wall of the Chancel in the position approved by the Archdeacon; to erect a rood beam carrying the usual cross and figures and to replace the figures of the Virgin and child and St. Anne in the niches at the east end of the Chancel, in accordance with the bequest of the late Bishop Christopher Watts. Estimated cost, £3040.
