They employed him to do errands out of school hours. On 11 separate occasions Randall had requested a quarter of potatoes for Mrs Larkinson, wife of John Larkinson, Malt Maker of Biggleswade. The value of the potatoes was £1.10 Mary Larkinson had not ordered or received any of the potatoes. Remanded to 31 August 1881. 12 strokes with a Birch Rod by a constable.
