- Wholesale & General Trades Enquiry Agency enquiring into the creditworthiness of Frederick William Murray of Radwell Road;
When the enquiry by A.E.Fulcher was not answered the company wrote that “our members are seriously annoyed at this treatment”; to which the Parish Council chairman replied that “it is not the proper function of any Parish Council or its Clerk to assess the financial status of members of the Parish...I resent the tone of your communications and if I receive further correspondence it shall be forwarded to higher Authority”.
