Two deeds "presented by Mr. Miles, patron, in 1927" to the parish. This is a pencilled inscription, apparently by the Rev. La Porte Payne, 1932, on an envelope in Mr. Emmison's writing which contained a letter in which he sent a copy of the above catalogue entries.
