He visited the Parish of Northill where he found, George Foxley 9ys 3 mths, Susan Foxley 12 yrs, Solomon Godfrey 9 yrs 3 mths, Fred Burnage 9 yrs 6 mths, Elizabeth Samuel 10 yrs, Anna M Goodacre 8 yrs, Fred Wheatley 9 yrs 7 mths, Rose Daniels 9 yrs, Polly Samuel 7 yrs, Martha Bygraves 9 yrs and Arthur Stokes 12 yrs employed by Henry Dillamore, Farmer of Hatch. None of them had passed the required Standards of Education. Admitted the offence. Fined 40/- with Costs of 8/6 in one case. 10 other cases dismiss on payment of 5/- each. Total 98/6.
