    Mortgage i) Toddington Parish Council ii) Robert Philpot, Public Works Loan Office, Finsbury Pavement House, City of London, Esq (Secretary to the Public Works Loan Commissioners) At a Vestry Meeting for Toddington held on 28 January 1856 it was resolved to provide a burial ground for the parish and a Burial Board was appointed (whose duties have now been transferred to i)) A Parish Meeting for Toddington held on 29 July 1901 authorised the borrowing of £300 for the fencing of the Cemetery extension. Bedfordshire County Council consented to this on 22 November 1901 The Local Government Board has sanctioned the borrowing at interest of £300 secured on the Poor Rates to be repaid within 20 years. The Public Works Loan Commissioners have agreed to advance said £300 at £3.5s % interest payable half yearly Now i) assign to ii) - Poor rates of the Parish - revenues of the Parish Council to secure repayment half yearly, to 13 November 1921, to cashiers of the Bank of England, of interest at £3 5s % p.a. and further sum of £7 10s towards discharge of the principal signature of John Waugh, presiding chairman George Godson Ashby William Walters (2 members of the Parish Council) witness Geo Foxon, Clerk to the Council 27 January 1902 Attached: Copy of minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on 27 January 1902 [A] : Copy of entry from Register of Mortgages [B] : Statutory declaration of George Foxon as witness to main deed and to A and B 8 January 1902
