Memorandum of conviction: Samuel Odell of Flitwick convicted of 'on the twenty fifth day of December 1827 commonly called Christmas Day did with an engine called a gun kill and destroy one partridge in the Parish of Steppingley' not be qualified so to do, on the information of Thomas Doughty and the oath of Esau White. Forfeit 10 pounds. Endorsed that penalty not piad so committed for 3 months to the new house of correction.
