Report of PC Charles Busby stationed at Biggleswade. He was on duty on the highway leading from Langford to Biggleswade when he saw a man lying in a ditch. The fox terrier with him was vicious so PC Busby went back to Biggleswade where he met PC Hebbes. Together they went back to the ditch and woke the man up. He was John Page, Labourer of Clifton. He was so drunk he fell back into the ditch when he tried to get up. He was also violent and used bad language. Fine 1/6. Costs 8/6.
