Memorandum of Conviction: Henry Read of Ampthill, labourer informed that Joel Thompson of Millbrook, labourer on the 31st May 1827 at Millbrook did kill and destroy a partridge and have the same in his possession. Joel Thompson declared that 'being at plough in a field at Millbrook on the 31st day of May 1827 he ploughed up the partridge which was taken by Esau White under a search warrant.' Forfeit 5 pounds.
