Title
Memorandum of Conviction: Thomas Edmunds, labourer and Joseph Hicks, labourer both of Turvey of being in a wood called Great Oaks Wood in Turvey between the hours of eleven and twelve on the night of the 9th May armed with sticks and a club loaded with iron or lead with the intent of stealing rooks. Forfeit 13 shillings each. Committed to the new House of Correction for one month or until the 13s be paid.
