- TitleReport of PC James Watt stationed at Sandy who was on duty at Girtford. He saw about 30 persons standing together on the Highway which was a great annoyance to persons passing by. Some of them left when they saw PC Watt going towards them but John Hill, Thomas Wagstaff, William Owens, John Wilsher, George Finding, Frederick Cooper, Amos Finding and John James, all labourers of Girtford remained on the road. PC Watt requested them to leave. When they remained he said he would summons them. He had cautioned 6 of them several times before but they took no notice of him. Case dismissed.
