The Board of Health have arranged with the Tenant of King's Arms & the Buildings are to be sold next Tuesday. I have not heard whether the Midland Company have settled with Mrs.Healey, I fancy she had the settlement in her own hands. The Cheque was drawn on Monday but I was not to send it until we had paid in sufficient - a heavy amount having been paid last week for malt duty. Please therefore not to pay it untill [sic] Saturday. We should be glad of the money from the Rising Sun. You had better write & ask Trethewy to refer it without he will pay the sum asked by you."
