    Copy family settlement Parties: (i) Benjamin Bennett the elder of Dunstable, straw hat manufacturer and maltster; (ii) Benjamin Bennett the younger of Dunstable, straw hat manufacturer and maltster (eldest son of (i)); (iii) Rev.John Bennett of Dunstable (second son of (i)); (iv) Rev.Robert Aitken Bennett, Vicar of St.Paul's, Bedford (youngest son of (i)) Reciting: - (i) and (ii) had been business partners since 2 Sep 1863 under terms of X95/237; - (i) had "for some time past" been incapacitated by ill health; - a family arrangement had agreed that the partnership be dissolved and (i) transfer his share to (ii); - that (ii), at request of (i), had paid £2,000 to (iv) in full satisfaction of his claim to any interest in real and personal estate of (i); - (ii) would also pay £2,000 in the same circumstances to (iii) before 25 Dec 1870 Operative Part: - (i) and (ii) dissolved their partnership; - (i) and (ii) released each other from all claims and demands arising from the partnership; - (i), with assent of (iii) and (iv) confirmed (a)-(i) to (ii); - (i), with assent of (iii) and (iv) confirmed his share in the stock, property, effects and debts of the partnership to (ii) as well as household furniture in his dwellinghouse in Dunstable and all his personal estate upon trust to permit (i) to enjoy his household furniture and effects for his life; - (ii) covenanted to pay an annuity of £200 per annum to (i) for his life; - (ii), with assent of (i), covenanted to pay £2,000 to (iii) before 25 Dec 1870; - (ii) and (iv), in return for £2,000 each, released (i) and (ii) from any claim on real and personal estate of (i) Property: (a) house, warehouse and premises in High Street, Dunstable; (b) warehouse in the rear of (a); (c) piece of ground known as Anchor Garden in the rear of (a); (d) Anchor, High Street, Dunstable in occupation of John Holt; (e) house in West Street, Dunstable in occupation of W.Cheshire; (f) house in West Street, Dunstable in occupation of J.Edmonds; (g) house in West Street, Dunstable in occupation of Maria Farmer; (h) house in Maypole Yard, Dunstable in occupation of William King; (i) garden ground between High Street and West Street, Dunstable in occupation of Benjamin Bennett Witnesses: - Thomas Weatherill of High Street, Dunstable, clerk to Benjamin Bennett; - H.W.Weatherill of High Street, Dunstable, draper
