    Copy deed of arrangement and trust (copy filed at Queens Bench Office on 18 Oct 1862) Parties: (i) Thomas Sworder of Luton, brewer; (ii) William Anstee of Chalton, farmer; John Cook of Bramingham, farmer; Benjamin Bennett the younger of Dunstable, straw hat manufacturer Reciting: - agreement between (i)'s creditors, (i) and (ii) in which payment to the creditors would be secured at 25% of the amount of full discharge - 12.5% payable on 1 Oct 1862 and 12.5% on 1 Jan 1863; - (ii) had given bills of exchange to each creditor for 25% of their respective sums payable in the two instalments; - John Anstee and Benjamin Bennett the elder had agreed to remain counter security for William Anstee and Benjamin Bennett the younger respectively in return for payment of the debts owed to them by (i) in full as would (ii) Operative Part: - (i) assigned his business as a brewer with all goodwill, stock and plant as well as all his personal estate (except his family's clothing and a small room at the brewery used as an office with its furniture etc.) to (ii) Habendum: - to (ii) upon trust for sale or to carry on the business etc. Witness: - Charles S.Benning of Dunstable, solicitor Copy notice of 20 Oct 1862 by (i) annexed to the deed to the effect that Thomas Sworder of Hertford had allowed his claim for £1,100 rent to stand over and that (i) authorised (ii) to pay £1,100 to him out of the profits of the business
