Examination of James Crow Born Eaton Socon where his father belonged. About 13yrs ago, on March 2nd, on a Thursday at St. Neots market he was hired to Mr. Inkersole [?] of Alconbury till Michaelmas next for 4 guineas. A fortnight before next Mich. Inkersole asked him to stay another yr. at 8 guineas. 26/7 March next left Inkersole & worked for Thomas Thorn of Eaton Socon for 8/- per week. m. Ann Pepperday May 31st [1821] Worked for Thorn for 2yrs, then did something Thorn did not like & was dismissed with a weeks wages
