Information and Summons of Ruth Chambers of Broom against George Patrick, Police Constable, of 5 Snow Hill, Holborn, London as the father of her bastard child. During the 12 Months following the birth, 15 April 1880, Patrick had sent Postal Orders to Ruth. She had seen him in London, December 1882, but he had not given her any money. Included are several letters from Patrick to Ruth. Charged to pay 1/6 per week until the child was 14 yrs.
