Old Clay Pit Conveyance from Greenway Developments (Harpenden) Ltd to Aspley Guise Parish Council of (a) 2.327 acres being part of enclosures 214 and 212 on O.S. map of 1901, (b) a strip of land 1 ft in length as in attached plan, (c) a right of way (in common with i) and those authorised by (i) along road way to be constructed to serve above land and land retained by (i) on which they propose to erect private dwelling houses, (d) right of drainage from pond through surface water sewer.

Reserving to (i) the right to construct, repair and maintain above sewer and the right (in common with ii) to pass surface water into pond; also right to construct such embankment as shall be necessary to support the road; and right to enter on piece of land first described for necessary work. To be held by (ii) subject to right of parishioners of Aspley Guise to take clay out of the above piece of land with various covenants as to landscaping, construction of land etc., and also about easements. It was agreed that the land was to be held as a public open space.
