Report of Emily Green, Monitor at the Campton School. Mary Bygrave, wife of Thomas Bygrave, Dealer of Campton went into school during school hours and complained to the mistress that Emily Green had slapped her daughter's face. Bygrave then walked straight up to Emily and struck her 3/4 times in the face and shook her violently. Report of Charlotte Woodhead, Mistress at the school, who said that Mrs Bygrave came to school and said that Emily had hit her daughter, one of the infants under her care, then gave Emily several blows on the head before Charlotte could speak. Fined 10/-. Costs 9/6
