    Reciting various matters regarding the right of parishioners to take clay from the Old Clay Pit now belonging to (i) which land had been provisionally registered as common land. Now (ii), (iii) and (i) agreed to settle the Relator action on the following terms (and Attorney General had agreed): common registration to be amended, deeds of release, conveyance and of undermission and undertaking to be executed and then Court be asked to issue Order in relator Action. Includes copy of draft Deed of Release in which Leo Robert Green agreed to release to Greenway Developments property in first schedule from a legal charge of 28 Mar 1973 to secure repayment of a mortgage. First Schedule - a piece of land in Aspley Guise of 2.327 acres and numbered 214 and 212 on 1901 O.S.map with frontage on road leading from Aspley Guise to Salford and return frontage to Mill Lane and a strip of land 1ft in width comprising the hedge along the remainder of frontage of no.212. Second Schedule notes: conveyance of 12 Dec 1939 between Charles Pynsent Elliott and John Charnock Smith, with Clement James Barnwell; conveyance of 12 Aug 1958 between Clement James Barnwell and Rupert Baylis Alley; conveyance of 3 Apr 1967 between Rupert Baylis Alley and Greenway; legal charge of 5 Mar 1973 between Douglas James Walker and Douglas James Walker [sic]; transfer of legal charge between Douglas James Walker and Barford Finance Ltd; receipt of 28 Mar 1973 of Bedford Finance; legal charge of 28 Mar 1973. Includes copies of PC Aspley Guise 4/48 and 4/49. Copy of Minutes of Order in Chancery, 1973 between (i) HM Attorney General (at relation of Aspley Guise Parish Council), (ii) R.S.Sturdy, (iii) Charles Richard Randall, (iv) Hugh Stanley Brown (since dec’d), (v) Kenneth Harbin Lovesey (since dec’d) (vi) Rev.Alan John Freeman all as plaintiffs and Greenway Developments (Harpenden) Ltd as defendants. It was ordered that the costs of the plaintiffs be taxed and these costs be paid by the defendant and all further actions in the proceedings be stayed.
