Conveyance of an Estate in Cardington and Harrowden.
Parties:
i) George Buttman [wife Agnes] and Thomas Cooper [wife Anne] of Harrowden in the parish of Cardington, county of Bedford, yeomen.
ii) John Peck of Cople in the County of Bedford yeoman
In consideration of £370 i) conveyed to ii) the following property:
Property now in the occupation of George Buttman: Three messuages or tenements in Harrowden with all buildings, barns, stables, yards, gardens, orchards etc; Three crofts of land or pasture (6 acres) in Harrowden); 71 acres one and a half roods of arable land in Cardington and Harrowden; Meadow in Fenlake Meade in Cardington (6 acres) with all woods and trees etc; to hold of our Sovereign Lady the Queene her heirs and assigns as of her Manor of East Greenwitche in the County of Kent by free socage and not in capital or Knights service.
George Buttman also grants to John Pecke his heirs and assigns forever all other messuages, cottages, lands, meadows, pasture, woods, commons and profits thereof within Harrowden, Cardington, Eastcotts and Fenlake.
