Scope and Content
Plots of land indicated to the rear of dwellings adjacent to Raleigh, Nelson & Lawrence Streets. Manholes indicated for these streets. The area of land to the rear of dwellings situated between Lawrence Street & Havelock Street in coloured in pink and the area is indicated as: 2 roods 18½ poles. The plot to the rear of dwellings adjacent to Raleigh Street is indicated as having been sold on 17 August 1931, and the plot to the rear of dwellings between Nelson & Lawrence Streets is indicated as having been sold on 15 November 1930. Gas Works owned by Bedford Gas Company are to the north east of the site and the Football Ground (indicated in blue) is to the rear of Raleigh and Nelson Streets (area 5 acres 2 roods 18½ poles.)
