Deed of Settlement. (i) Roger Pemberton of St. Albans, Herts. esq. (ii) Robt. Wolley of St. Peter's Herts. gent. (iii) Raphe Pemberton one of the sons of said Roger. - - Neeles or Fosses farm with appurts. occ by Thos. Freeman in Luton, Leagrave, Limbury, Biscott & Caddington. - - Ladye Howse or Mylksopps with appurts. also occ. by Thos. Freeman. And props. in Herts. For wife Eliz., sons Raphe (iii) & John & John's children Robert & Eliz., dau. Tecla wife of Robt Wolley and children Wm. & Ellen. After Roger's death:- Beds. props. to wife Eliz. for life then to granddau. Eliz. for 8 years & afterwards to her brother Robert. Herts. (a) :- to wife Eliz. during widowhood, then to son Raphe Herts. (b) :- to dau. Tecla for life then to her son Wm. Herts. (c) :- to granddau. Ellen Wolley. Witns. Wm.
