Starnell, sen. brewer of London, and Sam. S., his son; for 1000. - 33 ac. of arable & leys dispersed in the fields of LUTON, viz. 2 closes cont. 9 ac. at Berryhill,1 close cont. 2 ac. at Newlands; 2 1/2ac. in Winsden alias Bissell Field, 3 1/2 ac. in Bayly Field, 3 ac. in 2 pieces in Blackwater Field, 11 ac. dis- persed in Bridge Field, & 2 pieces cont. 2 ac. in Seywell Field, in the occupn. of Rob. Field & Jn. Field of Luton; also a close of meadow in occupn. of Rich. Waynewright cont. 1 ac. near a place called Pondwickes; & 2 messuages called Lammars in the North End of Luton, between the king's highway leading from the market-place of Luton towards Bedford on the N., & the king's highway leading from the market-place toward Dunstable on the S.; & 5 pieces of arable cont. 4 1/2 ac., whereof 1 1/2 lie in Seywell field in 2 pieces, & the other 3 lie in Maynden Field in 3 pieces, belonging to Lammars, in the occupn. of Abraham Childe.
