    Edw. Jackins. Born Thurleigh, where he lived with his father Stephen until he was 10. Was then let to Wm. "Vaullitine", Milton [Ernest], farmer, whom he served for 2 years. Then went to several farmers for 1 or 2 years until 1760 or 1761 when he was hired by Mr. Wm. Franklyn, St. Pauls, brewer, with whom he continued for 6 years. He then married and went to live with his wife's brother, Thos. Green, at Pavenham. He then moved to Eynesbury under certificate from St. Pauls; Eynesbury back to St. Pauls; thence to the Bull public house, Harrold; from Harrold back to the Saracen's Head, Stonehouse Lane, St. Pauls. Wife's name Mary; 7 children.
