Jn. Grundon, junr. Born at Eaton Socon; where his father/lives under a certificate from St. Pauls. Learned the trade of blacksmith under his father and has worked in several places as a journeyman, particularly in Bedford St. Marys, with Rich. Chamberlain, blacksmith, 13 years previously for 8 months, under an agreement which was made for 11 months but he had to leave on account of the Militia being embodied. He served in the Militia almost 3 years. Seven years ago he married Eliz. Knight at Clapham and has 2 chn. Now settled in a house at Covington, Cambs. which he rents at £5 per year, but was never assessed or paid taxes.
