Copy will of John Butcher of Toddington, dairyman:
- devising all real estate in Toddington in occupation of his brother-in-law Richard Spufford, to his wife Frances and their daughter Ruth for their joint lives, remainder to the survivor;
- bequeathing his personal estate to his wife and daughter equally;
- appointing Richard Spufford as guardian to Frances during her minority;
- appointing his wife and daughter as joint executrixes;
- witnessed by George Shaw, John Bishop and George Hooper of Ampthill;
- proved at Bedford on 7-8 Jun 1808 by Frances Butcher and Ruth Pratt
