This interesting booklet gives details of restoration and alteration work as well as various personalities involved with the church: the Rev. Robt Aitken Bennett, the Rev. Harry Hocken and his work with Sister Fanny Eagles in the smallpox epidemic of 1872, Mr. Rose the organist, the Rev. R.E.R. Watts (a "High Church Clergyman"), Dr. Maclear, the Rev. Mr. Woodard and Walter Ellis, verger. Includes two poems on robin singing in church during Easter service and service for death of King Edward VII.
