    Recites:- (a) will of William Isaac, 26 Apr. 1692, bequeathing to the 4 children of his daughter Brewer £30 each, on their majority, and to wife, Patience, all his real property and personalty for life while a widow, if she remarried the real property to go to William Nicholls & Thomas Woodward in trust to pay his debts. (b) In her widowhood Patience sold the greater part of the personal estate and paid several of the testator's debts and about September after the testator's death she married John Worrall and the executorship passed to William Nicholls and Thomas Woodward. (c) The testator's personal estate falling short of being sufficient to pay his creditors: Thomas Westerne, Robert Plumstead, John Wilson, Sir John Turner, Henry Bell esq., Charles Turner gent, Robert Awborne gent, Edward Bodham gent, Samuel Tayler gent, the said Patience and Mary Isaac infants by John Kidd their next friend and Thomas Wilkes & his wife, legatees entered a suit in Chancery vs. John Worrall & Patience, William Nicholls & Thos. Woodward to obtain execution of trust. Decree 25 Feb. 1692/3, ordering John Worrall to account re personalty. (d) Report 28 February that testor had only 2 messuage in Bedford worth £620, insufficient to pay his debts, and that testor had entered into bond of £40 to indemnify parish of St. Neots in the settlement of John Brewer & wife. (e) Decree of 5 March last, ordering testor's real estate to be sold and debts to be paid in equal proportions with money raised. (f) Report of 4 December last that property had been sold to (i) and James Veale for £620. From which John Worrall and Patience accepted £81.13s.4d in respect of Patience's dower, £45. 6s.2d 3 farthings balance of term, £54.18s.1d taxed for the suit. This was deducted from the £620 and the remainder used to pay debts at 7s 8d per pound and that £46.1.10d. due to the four children of daughter Brewer was to be placed out at interest. (g) Thomas Wilkes as uncle to the said children with the approbation of the master put the £46.1s.10d for the benefit of the said Brewer subject to the decree for the St Neots bond. Now in consideration of the £46.1s10d paid by (i) and in consideration of £5s paid to him by William Nicolls & Thomas Woodward, Nicolls and Woodward to hold for £99 years. Rent: peppercorn if demanded. - The 'Ship', and coal yard lying near the same now or late in the occupation of (i) and George Richardson; messuage in occupation of Thomas Veale, East; messuage in the occupation of John Saunderson, West.
