"Furst I bequeth my soull to Allmeghtie God and to all the holy compeny of heven" and burial in the church of Stageden. To William Bolton a score of sheep and to his children half a score. To William Bolton's son William a heifer. To testator's godson William Cockes the son of Henry Cockes of Kyryton a shod cart and to three of his children 6 sheep and to his children who were twins a heifer each. To Alys Davyd a heifer. To Esebe Cockes and Jone Cockes 6s. 8d. each. Residue to wife Agnes who is sole executrix "she to disspose as she thinketh beste for the helth of my soull". Witnesses William Bolton, gentleman, Henry Cockes yeoman, sir Robert Slyngesbee, Alexander Erle.
