Copy admission, Manor of Biggleswade, before Isaac Hindley, gentleman, deputy steward of Oliver Farrer and James Farrer, esquires, chief stewards of William Edwards alias Hall to (a) 20.25 poles in Biggleswade Town Field since inclosed, part of arable land called Cowfair Land in occupation of Edward Rudd, then William Edwards to which William Edwards was admitted tenant on 23-24 Apr and 1 May 1776 on surrender of Edward Rudd; (b) cottage lately divided into two tenements in Shortmead Street, Biggleswade at Cowfair in occupation of Thomas Bennett and Mary Pope, then William Sheffield and George Wicks, then William Edwards the elder and Nathaniel Seagrave, then William Edwards the younger; (c) half acre in Cowfair Land in occupation of Edward Albone, then Edward Rudd, then William Edwards the younger - William Edwards the younger being admitted tenant to (b)-(c) on 28-29 Apr 1786 on surrender of William Edwards the elder; William Edwards the younger having surrendered (a)-(c) on 23-24 Oct 1801 to use of his will of 22 May 1806
