- TitleAbstract of title of Benjamin and Robert Jefferies to land in Thurleigh, abstracting as follows: (I) X886/1/3/6 (II) chirograph of fine of Trinity 25 Geo.III between Henry Peacock, plaintiff and Stephen and Martha Odell, deforciants of 2 messuages, 2 cottages, 3 barns, 3 stables, 8 acres of land, 2 acres of meadow and 10 acres of pasture in Thurleigh (III) X886/13/3/7-8 (IV) X886/1/3/9 (V) X 886/1/3/10 (VI) will of 17 May 1834 of Edward Wildman: - bequeathing to his grandson John Barnes 20; - sale by executor of personal estate and real estate (unless his 3 daughters wished to share the furniture) consisting of: house, lands and premises where he dwelt in Thurleigh; house near Meeting House in Thurleigh; house near end of Park End Lane, Thurleigh, lately purchased from Charles Green; - sale monies to be divided equally between his three daughters Abigail Kippist of Goldington, Ann Barnes of Thurleigh and Mary Stokes of Willington; - 60 to be deducted from Mary Stokes' to be put in trust for her two children until the death of their father; - Benjamin Jefferies of Great Barford, farmer appointed sole executor (VII) Edward Wildman appointed Robert Jefferies of Cople as executor on 22 Aug 1836 The abstract is liberally annotated, key annotations being as follows: - will of William Odell did not specifically name any property in Thurleigh; - no wife of Henry Peacock was then living; - James Musgrove died on 13 Feb 1826 aged 74, twice married - he had by his first wife, Elizabeth Hill [died 1801], a daughter [believed dead] married to a London printer named Taylor; his second wife was daughter of a yeoman called King and widow of a farmer named Fletcher she was probably still alive but they had had no children; Musgrave's Thurleigh estate was connected with his second wife's father who had a farm at Diddington and Southoe [Huntingdonshire]; Musgrove's second wife had several children by her first husband who worked for her father [her sister married another Fletcher who worked for her father]; - Richard Kippist was still living; - Benjamin Jefferies and Thomas Street were both dead, the latter dying on 15 May 1824; - husbands of the three daughters of Edward Wildman were George Barnes, farmer, Richard Stokes and Richard Kippist, he had a son named Elim [?] who lived at Thurleigh
