    Abstract of Title of Esther Emily Farmer to 64, 66 and 68 Duke Street, Luton: - WL1000/1/LUT/4/5; - will of William Farmer of 6 Jan 1897 appointing his wife Esther Emily Farmer, nephew Sidney Farmer and friend Walter Thomas Lye trustees and executors and devised (amongst other things) all his real estate in Luton to them upon trust to apply the rents to maintenance and with powers of sale; - death of William Farmer on 26 Mar 1897; - deed poll of 9 Jul 1897 witnessing that Sidney Farmer and Walter Thomas Lye refused to act as trustees and renounced trusteeship and executorship; - proof of will of William Farmer on 15 Jul 1897 in PPR; - transfer of mortgage of 5 Aug 1897 between (1) William Henry Brown formerly of Luton, then of Flitwick, miller and Benjamin Seebohm formerly of Bedford, then of Hitchin [Hertfordshire], banker; (2) Esther Emily Farmer of Victoria Terrace, Dunstable Road, Luton, widow; (3) Dolphin Smith of Mackrey End, Wheathampstead [Hertfordshire], farmer being supplemental to mortgages and further charges taken out by William Farmer with William Henry Brown (since deceased) and Benjamin Seebohm; RECITING: death of Henry Brown on 1 May 1892; deposition of deeds by William Farmer with Barclay & Co.
