- TitleAbstract of Title of Susan Wing to Oddfellows Arms, Mill Street, Bedford: - WL1000/1/BED/2/6; - WL1000/1/BED/2/7; - indenture of 3 Aug 1867 between (1) William Joseph Nash; (2) Robert Couchman of Bedford, surgeon and William Wells Kilpin of Bedford, ironmonger; (3) several persons, companies and partnerships who were creditors of (1) who would be entitled to prove under an adjudication of bankruptcy against him had such been made; RECITING: (1) had for some time carried on business of a brewer, maltster and wine merchant at Bedford and had incurred debts such that he proposed to convey all real and personal estate to (2) as trustees for all creditors; three quarters of creditors whose debts amounted to 10 or more had agreed to accept the proposal; as part of the proposal (1) was to enter into a covenant; OPERATIVE PART: (1) conveyed all his real estate, with goods, stock in trade etc. to (2) (subject to mortgages of 31 Jul 1867 to Talbot Barnard, Thomas Barnard and Thomas Twining Wing securing a total of 8,165/13/8) upon trust; COVENANT: (1) covenanted to execute or concur in any conveyances and assignments as requested by (2): POWERS: (2) having powers to manage the trust estate; - indenture of 29 Apr 1870 between (1) Richard Couchman and William Wells Kilpin; (2) persons listed in first schedule; (3) persons listed in second schedule; RECITING: indenture of 3 Aug 1867; (1) had never taken possession of any real estate of William Joseph Nash and none of the powers in the indenture had been executed and all debts had been paid in full except those to (2) and (3); part of estate conveyed in 3 Aug 1867 had been sold and conveyed by mortgagees and part by William Joseph Nash; William Joseph Nash had sold parts of the personal estate listed in indenture of 3 Aug 1867; OPERATIVE PART: at request of William Joseph Nash (1) with consent of (2) and (3) reconveyed his real estate to him; - will of Sarah Wing as recited in WL1000/1/BED/2/9: - death of Sarah Wing and proof of her will as recited in WL1000/1/BED/2/9; - will of William Joseph Nash as recited in WL1000/1/BED/2/9; - death of William Joseph Nash and proof of his will as recited in WL1000/1/BED/2/9; - WL1000/1/BED/2/9
