Universally believed Lord Townshend will marry "a young Irish lass Anna Montgomery, Sweet Nineteen". Annoyed at receiving Summons to attend Irish Privy Council. "Our naval armament was equipped with wonderful expedition and does great honour to Lord Sandwich. The fleet will sail, but in the opinion of our politicians will rather prevent than occasion a war. P.S. "Last night a messenger arrived directly from France with the Olive branch, so that orders will be issued directly to disarm".
