Andrews, Orleans to Grantham, Madrid Spending some months on Continent to recover health "which was greatly impaired last winter by a tedious and severe attendance upon Parliament". Wishing to pay respects to Grantham at Madrid, will make a tour of Spain. Intends to reach Bordeaux by end next month. Bayonne mid-September. Requests passports etc. "As I am yet infirm I am the more solicitous about taking away precaution against those inconveniences which attend travelling in Spain". Will travel with 3 Domesticks, letter may reach him at Mr. Aindie's at Bordeaux. English friends endeavoured to dissuade him from undertaking the expedition but believes some parts of Spain will fully repay him for his trouble.
