She comments, "I doubt there is much hope of anything like unanimity of opinion on any one point except the internal evidence of her guilt - Much of the proof is shaken - and even the tent establishment is more like "foregone conclusion", than present evidence". She hopes the Bill fails on the second reading. Lord Hardwicke's health has improved.
