They stayed with Sir David Carnegie for 3 days, and saw Colonel and Mrs Drinkwater. From Kinnaird they went to Dunkeld by Fofar, before travelling towards Blair. They saw the Tay, and returned to Dunkeld, where they spent time walking the grounds. They travelled to Taymouth, where they stayed for a week with Lord and Lady "B". They will soon be departing for Carlisle, and asks her to direct her letters there, and they expect to reach Newby on Wednesday 15 [September]. He has also accepted an invitation to go to Powys in September.
