Mentions the Bishop and Mrs J. Yorke took her to Gloucester last week. Also mentions visiting Oxford and seeing Sir Joshua Reynold's 'Virtues' in the New College glass window. she also dined with Mrs Lake and Mrs Barker. They had received news from Colonel Lake, dated the 17 June, as he was preparing to land at Portsmouth, Virginia.
