    Grantham, St. James' Square to Amabel Discusses his plans to go shooting, and writes, "I mean to proceed against a large force of Partridges now assembling in the Provinces of Silsoe, Flitton, Clophill, &c. &c. - Head-Quarters Wrest, parole Slaughter". He will also meet with Bishop Beachcroft to discuss the best way of disposing of the Partridges. Also asks her if she would attend the christening of their son; "my August Consort and myself are anxious to involve you in a Baptismal Confederacy". Mentions the appointment of a Bedfordshire agent, and that he proposes to interview Mr Harrison.
