Office copy will of John Hunt of Wellingborough, shepherd: - devising to his nephew George Barett the younger his messuage formerly of two bays, since pulled down and new built by him in Wellingborough in occupation of Joseph Dainty, carpenter with Skitterdine E with right to draw water from well in yard late of Thomas Moore, now James Dison; for which George Barett was to pay legacies as below; - bequeathing £20 to his [George's?] brother Thomas Barett; - bequeathing £15 to his [George's?] sister Mary Barret, spinster; - bequeathing £5 to testator's niece Ann Rowell weekly at 1/- a week; - bequeathing 1/- "and no more" to the testator's nephew William Hunt; - devising to George Barret the younger a close of pasture or orchard in Wellingborough near St.John Street in occupation of testator, previously the inheritance of Edward Carter which he purchased from John Alston, gentleman and his wife; - residue to his nephew George Barret the younger whom he hade sole executor; - witnesses W.Hartwell; Martha Hackney; Jonathan Nicholls; - proved on 12 Dec 1751; examined by William Gates
