Auckland, Memorandum (8) Refers to a dispute between the Admiralty and Johnson's respecting payment for the completion of the breakwater at Plymouth. Colonel Fanshawe has been appointed as arbitrator in the matter, and advises he consults Sir John Rennie. Recommends Fanshawe's son for promotion.
