    Presentment 'The Jurors for our Sovereign Lord the King upon their oath present that Hugh King late of the parish of Maulden in the County of Bedford labourer on the twentieth day of March in the forty first year of the reign of our sovereign lord George the third king over the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and so forth with force and arms at Maulden in the County aforesaid one half peck loaf of bread of the value of 2 shillings and six pence of the goods and chattels of one Richard Newman then and there being did feloniously steal take and carry away against the peace of our lord the King his Crown and Dignity.' It is marked a 'True Bill'
