- TitleGrantham, St. James's to Eden, Copenhagen (No 8, draft) Regarding the case of Danish convoy taken by three privateers on 29 Dec 1780 and condemned by the Admiralty Court at St. Kitts. The appeal had been heard by the Lords of Appeal. With 7 out of 10 of these prizes, the property was proved to be Danish and the condemnation was reversed. They were unable to proceed in the remaining three prizes due to the lack of documentation. Grantham has suggested to M. Dreyer that if he can procure the necessary papers from the present possessors at St. Kitts, the Court of Appeals will proceed in the hearings. Dreyer is against taking steps of this kind.
