Grantham, St. James's to John Strange, Venice (No 4, draft) Has not had time to look back into the correspondence between Strange and his predecessors. He can only acknowledge and answer those letters Grantham has received himself. Strange arranged the matter of Mr Warren's complaint "with great discretion" and has been equally successful in the "intricate business" of Mr Walton's concerns. He is quite right to collect information.
